Because your well-being is our top priority, protocols are in place based on current guidelines from the city’s Department of Health. Please make note of these prior to your visit so that all visitors’ experiences are enjoyable. No reservations are required to enter the Museum. 

 

  • Effective Monday, July 26, all visitors age 5 and older must wear masks in the museum, regardless of vaccination status. 
  • Visitor capacity continues to be limited.  
  • Tours and other in-person programming continue to be suspended. Self-guided group and school tours are not permitted. We encourage you to enjoy programs virtually at slam.org. 
  • The Richardson Memorial Library and Archives are open to the public Tuesdays-Fridays, 10:00 am – 4:30 pm.
  • Public access to the Print Study Room continues to be suspended. 
  • The Museum Cafe is open. Panorama restaurant will reopen at a later date. 
  • Staff will continue to undergo daily temperature checks, and enhanced cleaning and sanitizing of all public spaces will continue. 
  • The Museum offers coat check areas in Taylor Hall and Sculpture Hall for backpacks and bags larger than 11 x 17 inches.
