Fellowship and Internship Opportunities
The Saint Louis Art Museum is committed to building the community of arts professionals through internships and fellowships across a range of Museum departments.
ROMARE BEARDEN GRADUATE MUSEUM FELLOWSHIP
The Romare Bearden Graduate Museum Fellowship is nationally renowned as one of the oldest and most robust museum programs in the country dedicated to increasing diversity among professional staff in the museum field. In this inaugural expansion year, the Museum offers both a one-year and two-year Bearden fellowship. These paid fellowships are a critical component in preparing early career museum professionals from historically underrepresented backgrounds (particularly people of color) seeking careers in art museums and art-related fields of education, community engagement, and administration.
The Saint Louis Art Museum is continually looking for individuals to help us better serve the community. Volunteers have the unique opportunity to support the arts while learning new skills and meeting people with similar interests. When you volunteer, you not only lend your time and expertise, you also give back to a beloved St. Louis cultural institution.
